Often this sort of item is basically junk in this price range. But not this. This is actually a pretty good deal. So reviewing the features, The mouth piece comes with air vents as one would want. Breathing is very easy. This coming from someone with respiratory issues. Sometimes these hurt the teeth. This one did not. I'd say it would be reasonably comfortable for upwards of an hour or so with out causing the jaw to ache like these often do for smaller mouths. The buckle in the rear is suitable for attaching a leash to. There is sufficient length in the chain to reach where the clamps go. The clamps are covered in a rubber like covering that will help to prevent injury. The clamps themselves are easy to adjust. This is reasonably durable but I doubt it will last for a lifetime. But one would not expect that for the price. Probably a few dozen uses at most before you wear out the plastic parts. I also would not recommend this for actually restraining a large strong person who is determined to defeat the purpose.Cleaning is a breeze. I recommend putting it in a dish washer before using or else just wash it in a sink full of water with normal dish washing detergent. Scrub it with a dish washing cloth, use a plastic bristle brush for the chain or else a good spray nozzle. Then rinse and set out to dry. This may eventually rust with constant exposure to water, perspiration but it will probably wear out before it gets to that point.This review only recommends this used for play between consenting adults, not for illegal activities.
