I was expecting the collar two weeks after it was ordered. It came in one week. After wearing it a while (25/7) I have to admit I'm very pleased with it. I got it an inch bigger than my neck(15) and there's plenty of room for a finger under the collar, but not so lose as to be an issue. The screw needs checking to make sure it stays in place. It wiggles out a little after a couple days, nothing that diligence won't fix. The rainbow coloring hasn't come off at all even when sweating , showering, even with day to day use. It has a steady , sturdy weight. It also came with a backup screw(which I didn't expect,but am very happy with).I would very much recommend this product to friends.It's a nice, "Turian" style collar, suitable for 24/7 wear. It's heavy enough to be a reassuring presence, and lightweight enough to be comfortable, including for sleeping safely. The design is such that it can pretty easily fly under the radar as a unique "necklace" to anyone who doesn't know, yet be instantly obvious to anyone else in the lifestyle. The quality seems to be just as good as the other, more expensive collars of the same type (which I also own). It is not at all another flimsy product riding the coattails of "50 Shades of InstaDom". It does take a different sized allen key than the more known brand, however, that can be a good thing, IMO. The key DOES fit the other allen locking collars and ankle and wrist cuffs offered by the same seller, and most of the items appear to come with a spare screw AND key, so that's handy.This collar is perfect. I have a 16" neck and I ordered this in 17" so there was room for ropes or fingers wrapped around the metal ring. It is exactly the right fit for me. It sits low on my neck and feels heavy on my clavicles. The design is also very clean and unassuming and I can wear it to class, work, or out to do errands. I have also worn it in the shower and while sleeping through the night. It is just that comfortable. The other benefit is that this design is more low key than collars with obvious locks/locking mechanisms. So most folks don't assume anything unless they are part of the lifestyle (other customers have mentioned this too). I would highly suggest this collar to anyone looking for something comfortable to wear during the day that is just heavy enough to be a constant reminder...This choker/collar is well made and has a easy to use screw. I don't usually put the screw all of the way in, just enough to lock it sufficiently and still be able to unscrew it by hand. I keep the key/wrench close by though, just in case.The rainbow powder-coated surface is well done and has not faded at all since arriving.Because it opens up in the front center you have to be careful not to pinch the skin of your equine.15 inch one fits perfectly as a choker type. It's a lot heavier and stronger than I thought, it is not a cheap bendable type. There is no way to get this off without the tool just a warning for you passive types... Also gets a lot more attention than you would think.. So if you don't want to have to explain what you have locked around your neck I suggest wearing it at home. Also you have to be a very strong confident male to wear this. Because it gives you a very feminine look.I purchased this as an everyday wear opposed to wearing my super expensive one everyday. It is lightweight, sits nicely and holds pendants beautifully. Only thing is the screw does not stay lockes in when unscrewing to take off but it was an easy fix with the help a blacksmith friend. I don't take it off unless to deep clean it or to swap with my fancy one so it's not too crazy a big deal.i ordered the black edition, and the black paint chipped within the week. I'd had another from a different company that I'd worn for a good six months or more with nothing but basic wear scratches in the black coloring, but the paint of this one literally flakes off if you wear the collar 24/7. Pictured in the side-by-side photos are the collars I got here (the smaller size) and wore for maybe a month, & The larger one, from an alternative company, was worn for over 6 months. You'd be best off purchasing the plain steel and properly anodizing or painting it yourself if you want a darker color metal with better longevity. The selfie is the collar purchased here. Nice fit and no complaints other than the quality of the paint.Absolutely love this thing. i got a 16, SS and LOVE it. its light enough to wear all the time. It fits perfect. Its still heavy duty and I couldn't be happier. I must own ALL the colors now!!! Rainbow is next! Like how they say previously. i measured my neck and added about half an inch instead of a full inch because i wanted a tighter fit.. it fits like a dream. VERY happy customer!! Not to mention it was estimated to be here between the 6th and 11th and it got here on the 6th. So shipping was amazing to!
