When my girlfriend told me that she was into bondage and wanted to try new things I bought this book. I had always wanted to try it but I never knew enough about it, till I got this book I mean this book is small but the knowledge inside is great like there is a part that teaches you how to cut a 100 foot rope down to more manageable sizes which have come in handy for simple things like ankle and wrist restraints. The only thing it is lacking is some more of the decorative and interesting knots which I have found in two knotty boys show you the ropes, the only problem is many of the more decorative ones use more rope. My suggestion is buy 3 or more 100 foot ropes this book and the other I mentioned and cut one down like this book suggests, the other two cut down to 25 and 50 foot sections then when you get more into it you can get more rope and get 20, 60, 75, 100 foot sections. The recommended book will teach you how to use the varying sizes, more so with the longer ones. But this is the book that started quite a bit of interesting things in the house if you catch my meaning.
